Wood turning is incredibly relaxing fun, as well as easy to learn. With a relatively low cost to get started, it has become one of the fastest growing hobbies in North America as well as in many other parts of the world. It seems that wood lathes are making their way into garages and basements in record numbers.
While not rocket science, wood turning is an art form that requires a great deal of practice. However, once the basics are mastered, few aspects of woodworking are as addictive, or as satisfying, as woodturning.
Mike and I designed this site as a resource for woodturners, offering informational videos, ideas and inspiration for wood turners of all levels. We not only welcome any comments from our readers, we encourage them.

My God, that’s stunning.
I have many talents, most bad. I could NEVER accomplish anything close to that lovely piece of art.
I’ll put it simply (my mind works better that way)…To me, a srewdriver is a drink.
